Brief Description
DS-24E is designed to provide storage expansion for SAS RAID controller or SAS RAID adapter or SAS RAID adapter (SAS HBA). The enclosure is equipped with SAS Expander to support twenty four high-reliable 6Gb/s SAS drives or high-capacity SATA II or III drives from only single SFF-8088 cable host connectivity and provided two more SFF-8088 ports to allow to scale several units of SAS expander enclosure for the most cost-effective storage expansion.

24x hot-swappable SATA II, III/SAS 6G drive bays.
Built in 6Gb/s SAS Expander for single SFF-8088 cable connectivity, LSISAS2x36/28 expander IC embedded.
System status indication through LCD, LED (Link status and Activity) and alarm buzzer.
LED indicators for power and activity on each HDD tray
Backplanes are horizontal mounted for better ventilation
